Sketches for Japanese Textbook Illustrations

Some old sketches I found, where I was trying to figure out a mascot for a Japanese textbook. Possibly some of these are inspired by other illustrations, I was trying different things. I did not illustrate the textbook in the end because as corona lockdown happened, they stopped responding... These are all over a year old.
